I’m a pretty organized person. I would dare to say, above average actually 🙂 I like to start working in a coherently structured space, my ideas can’t develop in chaos and I almost have a ritual that before I start doing something in my studio: I try to harmonize the space or at least the work spheres. Therefore, when I was walking through the craft fair in Unirii Square, I caught a glimpse of the products of these two designers, and I thought they were just… you know that saying, „after my own heart”! Putting things in the right places is one thing, but having a product that protects them and also has a dedication printed on the case, well, whoever is a fan of “organization” knows what I mean 🙂 Meet Lampadaria, the design that beautifully organizes the objects around us.
Why Lampadaria?
The name Lampadaria comes from the concept of inspiring and bringing “light” through design and color in people’s lives. Hence, our motto „We bring design to light”. A balance between what art offers us and what we offer.
Who designed the logo?
We did! We wanted a minimalist, clean logo that suggests the idea of a spotlight. The products we create bring a “ray” of inspiration into people’s lives.
What makes your creations special?
Our products are based on three ingredients: Inspiration – nature, as well as color and graphics. We go quite often to the mountains, camping in the countryside, of course surrounded by nice people. Utility– or what we lack in our lives to have a more sustainable and reusable behavior (to stop collecting or buying meaninglessly). Motivation – by using certain words chosen from our thoughts and perceptions.
What is your favorite product?
The bookcase! Both my husband (Cosmin) and I (Dadiana) are book lovers. However, we have a habit of taking books everywhere with us and they reach a maximum degradation state. Because we care about our books, we created these cases, with different graphics and texts depending on the reader’s personality, both in order to protect them and as a form of style to identify with and inspire others.
What would your brand`s message be?
We bring design to light! Or in a more elaborate form: choose to express your personality through unique products, in a conscious, sustainable, reusable, nature-inspired and beautiful way.
